Planning, Designing and Detailing of a Building with Case Study

Objective

School of Civil Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University aims to impart the Basics of Planning, Designing and Estimating of a Building
from the Conception to Detailing stage using software tools like AUTO CAD, STAAD Pro. & M.S. Excel.
This course is for Civil Engineering students.

Overview

The training focus on basics of planning, design and detailing of different structural component of building, Concept clear on thinking and drawing a building plan by considering all aspects of dimensioning, positioning and orientation of building components. Green Building Concept. Drawing of plan, elevation and C.S. elevation of a building manually as well as by AUTOCAD software. Understanding the analysis and design concepts of same building using STAAD Pro. Bar bending schedule, Bill of Quantity & Rate Analysis of different items using MS Excel. Emphasize mostly on HANDS ON SESSION.
