Purnachandra Saha

Professor

Dr. Purnachandra Saha is a Professor in School of Civil Engineering at KIIT DU, Bhubaneswar, India. He joined KIIT-DU in 2013 and has been involved in various teaching, and research activities. He received his PhD from IIT Bombay and teaching in Universities since 2009. He has worked in a multinational company (mainly design of industrial structure before completing his doctoral degree) for seven and half years. He has written more than 120 research articles (Journal & Conference Papers) among which 35 are with B. Tech students till date. He is Faculty Advisor of ASCE KIIT University Student Chapter. He Guided B. Tech students to won National Level Steel Design Competition organized by INSDAG, Ministry of Steel for 4 times (2016-17, 2019-20 and 2020-21, 2021-22). He is Member of ASCE, IE (I), EERI, ACI and Council of Vibration Specialists.
