Associate Professor

Dr. Aparupa Pani has completed her B. Tech. (Civil Engineering) from KIIT University Bhubaneswar. Later she has completed her M. Tech (Geotechnical Engineering) and PhD (Geotechnical Engineering) from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela with a full-time fellowship from the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India in the year 2014 and 2019 respectively. She has presented her research work in many national and international forums and published articles in reputed journals. Presently she is working as an Associate Professor in the School of Civil Engineering, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar. Besides, she is a reviewer in many national/international journals and also she has published many research articles in international high impact factor journals (SCI/Scopus), national/international conferences, book chapters. Along with this she is also involved with many industries to establish academia-industry collaborative research. Recently she got a prestigious Government Sponsored project under SERB_CRG scheme as a principal investigator. Her research interests are Geotechnical Engineering, Geo-environmental Engineering, Solid Waste Management, Soil Stabilization, Ground Improvement, Phytoremediation. She is passionate for learning new things and believes in collaborative research which leads to a creative innovation.
