Sanjib Moulick

Dr. Sanjib Moulick received his Ph.D. degree in the year 2002 from IIT Kharagpur. He worked as a Research Associate at IIT Kharagpur from Year 2002 to 2003, as a Design Engineer in the Kerala Water Supply Project and as a faculty at SASTRA University, Thanjavur from 2004 to 2007, at IIT Kharagpur from 2007 to 2011, and since 2012 he is working at KIIT University and currently he is the Professor and Dean of School of Civil Engineering. Dr. Moulick works in the field of Environmental Engineering. He has guided 6 Ph.D. scholars and 11 M.Tech students till date. His work mainly focuses on water and wastewater treatment, designing of water re-use system and water quality management. He has published more than 50 peer reviewed journal and conference papers. He was associated with 6 sponsored research projects funded by SERB, DST (2017- 2020), MOES (2010 – 2013), DST (2008 – 2012), NABARD (2009 – 2011), ISIRD, IIT Kharagpur (2007–2008) and SASTRA University Thanjavur (2006 – 2007). Currently he is heading the research team from KIIT University involved in the research project entitled “Performance evaluation of Basuaghai Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant” funded by Ernst & Young LLP as a part of “Swachha Odisha Sustha Odisha” initiative.
