Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering
Build the infrastructure that shapes the modern world—from structural design and geotechnical engineering to water resources, transportation networks and sustainable construction.
Engineering the built environment
The B.Tech. programme in Civil Engineering prepares students for careers in the infrastructure, construction, structural design, and urban development industries. Its internationalised curriculum is aligned with statutory requirements, industry expectations, and national and international accreditation expectations.
Field and project-based learning supports preparation for professional practice, higher studies and entrepreneurial endeavours. The flexible curriculum allows students to choose industry electives, minors and honours pathways. The School also provides guided curriculum (prepared with Industry stalwarts like L&T Edutech) from which students can choose specialised learning tracks to achieve their goals.
Structural Engineering
Analysis, design and health monitoring of buildings, bridges and concrete structures.
Geotechnical Engineering
Soil mechanics, foundation engineering and ground investigation for safe construction.
Water Resources & Environment
Water resources, environmental engineering and sustainability under a changing climate.
Transportation & Infrastructure
Transportation infrastructure, construction engineering and project management.
