The School has undertaken numerous consultancy services in material testing — concrete mix design, quality testing of construction materials such as cement, aggregates, bricks, tiles, reinforcing bars and ply, soil testing and water testing for both drinking and concrete use, and accelerated curing and testing of concrete. It also undertakes structural design and drawing preparation, vetting of structures, and provides clients with Quality Engineers for various works. The School has developed competency in slope stabilisation and landslide protection, and widening of Ghat sections using soil nailing, gabion walls, reinforced earth walls and stone-column ground improvement, and is established as a Centre of Excellence in the country, having completed several milestone projects of state and national repute.

- Preparation of DPR using necessary design for restoration of washout portion at valley side from ch. 238.962 to 239.012 & 239.250 to 239.310 of NH59 (Daringibadi Ghat), effected by Cyclone Titli.
- Preparation of DPR for slope stability works using soil-nailed protection system at Kalinga Ghat, Km 81/00 to 91/00 of NH157, for Executive Engineer, NH Division, Sambalpur.
- Construction supervision consultancy of Kalinga Ghat protection works on the khad side, Km 81/00 to 91/00 of NH157.
