Dr. Dipti Ranjan Biswal
Deputy Director, Associate Professor II
Dr. Dipti Ranjan Biswal is an Associate Professor in the School of Civil Engineering at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. He earned his Ph.D. in Transportation Geotechnics from IIT Bhubaneswar, M.Tech inGeotechnical Engineering from NIT Rourkela, and B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IGIT Sarang. With over nearly two decades of combined academic and industry exposure, he has taught courses in transportation engineering, pavement analysis and design, structural engineering, and computer-aided design. Before joining academia, he worked with MECON Limited, M N Dastur & Co., and Conut Consulting Pvt. Ltd. His research interests include pavement materials, stabilized base and subbase layers, and life cycle assessment of pavements. He has guided M.Tech and Ph.D. scholars and published widely in Scopus and SCI-indexed journals. He is a life member of the Indian Road Congress and actively contributes to academic administration, consultancy, and professional training.
