Dr. Satya Ranjan Samal holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from VSSUT Burla, an M.Tech in Transportation Engineering & Management from NIT Trichy, and a Ph.D. from KIIT University. His expertise includes traffic congestion, traffic safety, road user behavior, speed reduction techniques, and road safety measures. He has authored publications in reputed journals and conferences and provided traffic study reports and management plans as consultancy services. Currently, he serves as Assistant Controller of Examinations, School of Civil Engineering & Architecture Planning, Deputy Superintendent of KP 16, and Faculty-in-Charge of the Surveying Laboratory. His past roles include NSS Programme Officer (2016–2024), Faculty-in-Charge of Examinations (2018–2024), and Transportation Engineering Laboratory (2016–2020). Combining academic, research, and administrative skills, he actively contributes to transportation engineering, road safety, and academic management.
