Dr. Malaya Mohanty is an Assistant Professor at the School of Civil Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from VSSUT, Burla (2012), followed by an M.Tech in Transportation Engineering from NIT Hamirpur (2014), and earned his Ph.D. from IIT Bhubaneswar. He has been associated with KIIT since July 2018. His teaching and research interests include traffic engineering, traffic flow theory, operations, and road safety. Dr. Mohanty has published over 35 research papers in Scopus-indexed international journals. He has also led more than 20 consultancy projects for reputed construction firms and healthcare institutions. Currently, he serves as Faculty-in-Charge of the Transportation Engineering Laboratory, Social Media, and Branding, and has successfully supervised one Ph.D. scholar while guiding another.
