Biography and academic profile

Dr. Gaurav Udgata is an accomplished Assistant Professor at KIIT University with nine years of teaching experience. A distinguished KIIT alumnus, he holds a BTech in Civil, an MTech in Structural Engineering, and a PhD for his patented innovation of an interlocking brick using pond ash. His impactful research, evidenced by quality publications, focuses on sustainable construction using waste materials and integrating AI/ML in civil engineering.

Deeply involved in campus life, he serves as NSS Program Officer, FIC of Alumni Affairs (SCE), and Treasurer of the KIIT Alumni Association, championing student connectivity. A dynamic and versatile mentor, he organizes major events and takes AICTE’s UHV classes in all branches of University. His technical acumen extends to hobbies in surveying, levelling, and structural design, making him a truly 360-degree contributor.
