Biography and academic profile

Dr. Mishra, Assistant Professor at KIIT University’s School of Civil Engineering, focuses on converting industrial waste into alternative geomaterials and stabilizing problematic soils. Educated at Institutes of National Importance, his passion for teaching bloomed under the mentorship of national leaders in academia.
His background combines site experience as a planning engineer with Metro Rail Projects in Bangalore and Chennai with international research collaborations across the US, China, Australia and India. At KIIT, he helped launch the “Construction Management and Infrastructure Development” program.
An adventurer (cycling, swimming, biking, diving, cliff jumping), avid reader, dynamic anchor, speaker, and skilled cook, Dr. Mishra strives to inspire patriotism and cultural pride. Additionally, he has personally mentored 16 candidates for the Indian Armed Forces, with 12 currently serving as officers and 3 still attempting.
