Biography and academic profile
Dr. Sanjib Moulick earned his Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur in 2002 and began his career as a Research Associate and Design Engineer before entering academia. He taught at SASTRA University (2004–2007) and IIT Kharagpur (2007–2011), and has been with KIIT since 2012, becoming Professor in 2016. He later served as Associate Dean (2017–2020) and Dean (2020–2024) of the School of Civil Engineering, where he led ABET (USA) and NBA accreditations and fostered collaborations with L&T EduTech and UltraTech. He is currently Dean of KIIT eXtension School, overseeing UGC-entitled online programs, work-integrated learning, and credit-linked certificate courses. His expertise includes water and wastewater treatment, reuse systems, and water quality management. He has supervised seven Ph.D. and eleven M.Tech scholars, authored a book published by McGraw Hill, published over 45+ Scopus-indexed research papers, holds four patents, and has successfully completed six sponsored research projects.
