Biography and academic profile

Dr. Satyajeet Nanda is an Associate Professor in the School of Civil Engineering at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering in 2013 from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. He completed his M.Tech. from IIT (BHU) Varanasi and his B.Tech. from the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), OUAT, Bhubaneswar. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Natural and Built Environment at Queen’s University Belfast, United Kingdom, from December 2013 to December 2016. Dr. Nanda’s research focuses on offshore geotechnical engineering, and he has successfully completed several research projects in this field. His research interests include the load–settlement behaviour of long piles, monopile behaviour under offshore loading conditions, crushing characteristics of offshore sands, geomaterial characterization, deep-water anchor systems, and strain-rate effects in soft soils using T-bar testing.
